During the coming year, Laureamko will seek to develop its sports services to better serve its members. Our goal is to increase opportunities to participate in sports on Laurea’s various campuses. Current sports services are only available on the Otaniemi and Tikkurila campuses, and group classes have only been available in Tikkurila. As a result, sports services are not equally accessible to students on all campuses. Beginning in the fall of 2022, Zone Sports Services will no longer be included in the Student Union membership. However, Laureamko is exploring the possibility of continuing to offer Zone sports services to its members at a student-friendly price. In addition, we will seek to establish new sports service partnerships to serve our members on all of Laurea’s campuses as well as online students.
Zone’s sports services will operate as usual for the duration of spring of 2022 and will be available to members at no extra charge, however, sports passes will only be activated for the spring season. More information on Laureamko’s sports services will be available later this year, but well in advance of the start of the 2022-2023 school year.
