Applications for the spring tutoring programme are open from 31 August to 13 September 2026. This recruitment is aimed at students who began their studies in spring 2026 or earlier.
Tutoring is a low-threshold role, but it plays a vital part in helping and supporting new students as they begin their studies. ![]()
What’s in it for you?
During your time as a tutor, you’ll get to meet lots of new people, even from outside your own campus and degree programme. You’ll also gain practical experience in leading groups, organising events, communication and much more. You can even apply for 5 credits for your work as a tutor!
Who can apply?
Any Laurea student can apply to be a tutor, regardless of your field of study, age or study form. There’s also a wide variety of starting groups, so we need all sorts of people as tutors! You don’t need any previous experience, we’ll train you for the role.
To act as a tutor, you must be a member of Laureamko.
Application process and timetable:
Fill in the application form, which can be found here, and book a interview slot that suits you. After the interviews, you’ll be notified whether you’ve been accepted as a tutor!Training takes place in the fall and includes a campus-specific session, group meetings and an overnight tutor camp at a camp centre, which is free to attend.
