Linda Lindgren, bachelor in social services, has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Laurea University of Applied Sciences Students’ Union. Lindgren takes up this post from her role as Executive Director of METKA, the Students’ Union at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. She has previously worked as an advocacy specialist at Laurea University of Applied Sciences and been involved in student activities within a trade union.
“It’s a pleasure to work with Linda, and she’s a familiar face to many. Thanks to her networks and previous experience in advocacy and lobbying, I’m really looking forward to seeing what she’ll bring to Laureamko as our Executive Director,” says Reece Tunkkari, Chair of the Laureamko Board
“It’s inspiring and lovely to be back working at Laureamko in a new role. I’m particularly looking forward to collaborating with the staff at the Laureamko office and our familiar stakeholders. My previous work experience will enable me to review and develop Laureamko’s operations from a fresher perspective,” says Lindgren
The current Executive Director, Aleksi Niemi, is moving to the role of Executive Director at SAMOK, the Union of Finnish Student Unions.
