Student Representatives are searched for the following Groups
- Working life steering group of Beauty and Cosmetics (1 representative)

- Working life steering group of Public Health Nursing (2 representatives)
- Working life steering group of Rehabilitation Counseling (2 representatives)
- Working life steering group of Social Services in Criminal Correction (2 representatives)

What do the groups do?
In the Working-llife steering groups, students can share their own experiences and those of their peers, as well as feedback on their degree programs. Next year, the focus will be on reforming the curriculum, among other things. In addition, student representatives will have the opportunity to hear the views of working life representatives on the development of degrees.
Acting as a student representative
Applicants are required to commit to communicating with the student union and participating in student representative training. Student representatives are expected to be active in gathering and utilizing opportunities to bring student feedback to the forefront. It is considered an advantage if the applicant is able to commit to the group’s activities for the entire calendar year. Membership in the student union is also considered an advantage. We hope that applicants have a genuine interest in the group’s topic and are motivated to take on the task. The names, email addresses, and photos of those selected will be published on the Laureamko website.
You can apply for credits for the skills you have acquired, which you can include in your degree as elective courses or complete as so-called extra-curricular studies. You can read more about credits for active participation, how to apply for them, and the requirements on our website. Learning and development are supported by the training courses offered by Laureamko, which provide additional content for the portfolio required to apply for credits.
