The deadline for registering as a candidate in the Laurea University of Applied Sciences Student Union Representative Council election was October 9, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
The candidates formed two electoral alliances. No electoral rings were formed. In addition, the Central Election Committee designated the three remaining candidates as independent candidates, as two of the electoral alliances did not meet the minimum requirement of at least two (2) candidates.
A total of 15 people ran for election, and they will make up the Laureamko Representative Council for the year 2027. No actual election will be held, as the Representative Council has 15 regular seats and 15 alternate seats.

In accordance with Section 19 of the Election Regulations, appeals against decisions of the Central Election Board may be filed within fourteen (14) days of the publication of the decision. Appeals must be submitted in writing to the Central Election Board.
