THE ELECTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STUDENT UNION OF LAUREA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES
Student union of Laurea University of Applied Sciences will have the election of the Council of Representatives on 31st Of October to 7th of November.
In the election 15 members and 15 deputy members amongs student union members will be selected to comprise the Council of Representatives for the year 2018. Elections are held electronically from 31st Of October to 7th of November.
All members, who have paid their membership fees for academic year 2018-2019 or fall semester 2018 before noon on 28th of September are eligible to be candidates. Candidates form electoral alliances consisting of 1‐15 candidates. All alliances need to have a spokesperson who can also be from outside of the alliance. Spokesperson fills out the electoral alliance establishing form and every candidate fills a candidate form. Electoral alliances can form electoral coalitions that consists of maximum of 30 candidates. All coalitions need to have a spokesperson who fills out the electoral alliance establishing form. All documents must be delivered to the student union’s post box in Tikkurila Campus’ 5th floor isle B or as an e‐mail attachment to address [email protected] before noon on 28th of September. Forms must be signed also when using e‐mail.
Members, who have paid their membership fees on 19th of October noon at the latest, are entitled to vote.
The right to vote can be checked by asking it from the President of the Central Election Committee or the executive director of Laureamko. Claims for corrections to the electoral register must be made in writing to the Central Election Committee to address [email protected] at latest 28th of October 11 pm.
