Searching four ordinary members and one alternate member for Laurea financial aid board. The application period for the task is 21.3. – 18.4.2017. Financial Aid boards term of office expires on 31.12.2017. Financial Aid board members are elected by the Laureamko Representative Council meeting on 20.4. at Leppävaara campus at 17.00. Applicants have the opportunity to come to the meeting to introduce himself and answer the questions of Representatives. If the applicant can not have on-site meeting he or she has the opportunity to communicate the meeting remotely, in this case he / she must, however, be connected in advance of Representatives president Jere Nieminen, [email protected].
An application must contain the applicant’s supposed degree completion. We hope that the aplpicant has knowledge of financial aid matters, a genuine interest in the student’s income position and enthusiastic approach. Aid Board is responsible for:
- To monitor the progress of studies
- To evaluate the right to time extension support
- Determine the adequate extent of summer studies
- To issue binding opinions on each of them to Kela.
