THE ELECTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STUDENT UNION OF LAUREA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES
Student union of Laurea University of Applied Sciences will have the election of the Council of Representatives on 30th Of October to 6th of November.
In the election 15 members and 15 deputy members amongst student union members will be selected to comprise the Council of Representatives for the year 2020. Elections are held electronically from 30th Of October to 6th of November.
All members, who have paid their membership fees for academic year 2019-2020 or fall semester 2019 before noon on 27th of September are eligible to be candidates. Candidates form electoral alliances consisting of 1‐15 candidates. All alliances need to have a spokesperson who can also be from outside of the alliance. Spokesperson fills out the electoral alliance establishing form and every candidate fills a candidate form. Electoral alliances can form electoral coalitions that consists of maximum of 30 candidates. All coalitions need to have a spokesperson who fills out the electoral coalition establishing form. All documents must be delivered to the student union’s mail box in Tikkurila Campus’ 5th floor isle B or as an e‐mail attachment to address email@example.com before noon on 27th of September. Forms must be signed also when using e‐mail.
Members, who have paid their membership fees at the latest on noon of 18th of October, are entitled to vote.
The right to vote can be checked by asking it from the President of the Central Election Committee or the executive director of Laureamko. Claims for corrections to the electoral register must be made in writing to the Central Election Committee to address firstname.lastname@example.org at latest 28th of October 11 pm.
