The Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS) has asked the National Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences – SAMOK to appoint its representatives to the FSHS council for the term beginning on 1 January 2027 and ending on 31 December 2028. In accordance with the FSHS’s rules, SAMOK appoints nine representatives, seven of whom are nominated on the recommendation of the student unions. As the FSHS is an organisation receiving public funding, certain mandatory checks must be carried out on its elected representatives, such as verifying that they are not subject to EU sanctions.

Laureamko has been given a place as a deputy representative on the delegation for the coming term. Laureamko’s Representative Council will elect a deputy representative to the delegation based on the applications received. The election must be completed by 25 October.
