Laureako University of Applied Sciences students union Laureamko is looking for an executive director for a temporary family leave substitute for October 25, 2021 – October 31, 2022.
Laureamko is a statutory community of Laurea students, whose mission is to promote students efforts both at the university and in society, and to develop students well-being and community spirit. We are a community where students learn, influence and enjoy student life. Our work community consists of five employees, an annually changing board and a large number of volunteers.
The Executive Director coordinates the daily and strategic activities of the student body. The most important tasks consist of running the finances and administration as well as managing the personnel, not forgetting the development work and the management of various partnerships. We hope you will find an active approach to communication, a visionary tendency in our changing operating environment, great collaboration skills and expertise in association management. We value expertise in project coordination. Language skills are required at least as much as excellent Finnish and fluent English. Experience in strategic management, managerial work, university studies and knowledge of the university field are considered an advantage.
