Laurea’s hospitality management student association LARE ry is Laurea University of Applied Sciences’ own student association for hospitality management students. Founded in 2016, the association operates on Laurea’s Leppävaara campus. The purpose of the association is to promote the professional identity, solidarity, and cooperation of Laurea’s hospitality management students and to safeguard the general, common, and social interests of its members. In addition, Lare organizes events for students and other interested parties.

Membership in the association is open to students studying for a degree in hospitality management at Laurea University of Applied Sciences. Memberships can be purchased on kide.app.

Laurea Business Students LATO ry is an association for business and security students at Laurea University of Applied Sciences, founded and maintained by students in 2003. Our mission is to look after the interests of our members, organize professional events, and offer our members various benefits. We also want to offer students leisure activities and, in this way, support the networking of business administration students.

Our umbrella organization is Tradenomiopiskelijat, a national association for business administration and BBA students. We collaborate with Laurea, Laureamko, other Laurea student associations, and other business administration student associations in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

Laurea Social Sciences Students LASO ry is a student association founded in 2023 for Laurea students studying social services, criminal justice social services, and rehabilitation counseling! LASO ry was born out of the students’ own desire to further improve the sense of community among students in different social fields at Laurea. In addition, LASO ry organizes events and offers benefits to its members, striving to collaborate with various actors in the social field.

All new students in the social sciences at Laurea, as well as students who are already further along in their studies, are welcome to become members and active participants in the student association. Come and join us in building an even more community-minded student culture among social sciences students!

Jenkins ry

Laurea Information Technology Students Jenkins ry is a student association founded in Espoo in 2018. The association’s goal is to support Laurea University of Applied Sciences’ information technology students by providing support, information, and motivation for their studies. We operate at Laurea University of Applied Sciences’ Leppävaara and Tikkurila campuses. We also participate in events throughout the Helsinki metropolitan area.
