This spring will be arranged wellbeing group for international students at Metropolia University of Apllied Sciences, Myyrmäki Campus. Group is open for all international students studying in Laurea -, Haaga-Helia – or Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Read more below and sign up!
“Hello student! Are you interested in getting more relaxed state of mind and feeling that living is easier? If so, please join our wellbeing group “Stress-free Zone”!
We discuss about wellbeing issues and do some exercises as well. The group is led by counselling psychologist Paula Aarnio and university chaplain Tiina Kaaresvirta. This event is available primarily for all international students studying in Laurea -, Haaga-Helia – or Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and we are operating in English. We kindly wish that you would be able to attend to every meeting.
The group meetings are:
3 x 2h, 25.1.-8.2. at Metropolia University of Apllied Sciences, Myyrmäki Campus (Leiritie 1, Vantaa)
Friday 25.1. at 9-11 am. Themes: From stress to relaxed feeling: What causes you stress and how to cope with stress. Working with values. Relaxation techniques and mindfulness-practices.
Thursday 31.1. at 9-11 am. Themes: The power of thoughts and feelings. Acting towards our values. How to remove possible obstacles in your studies. Relaxation techniques and mindfulness-practices.
Friday 8.2. at 9-11 am. Themes: Fight against darkness! How to cope with finnish winter. Relaxation techniques and mindfulness-practices.
